flash not working in youtube

Just did a clean install on my mom's machine to replace xp, Seemed good, but going to youtube, no videos play. Also, embedded vids do not play. I tried turning off hardware acceleration in firefox, still nothing. No right click anything in video panes.

HELP! I need to leave here tomorrow and can't provide support for my 85 year old non computer savvy mom after I leave here!
